What is The Innisfree?
The Innisfree is a continuous corridor of regenerative landscapes winding through Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan. It weaves together walking and biking trails, rewilded parkland, food forests, community gardens, and learning spaces, forming a shared landscape that grows healthier with time.
A collaborative effort with GreenBox Homes, we're growing the world’s largest food forest and the second-largest park east of the Mississippi River transforming both public and private areas into thriving, regenerative landscapes. Through your support, GreenBox Homes and our partners will design, install, and maintain vibrant wildflower meadows and edible perennial gardens in places like schools, parks, street medians, vacant lots, and private land.
These living spaces do more than beautify our city, they provide food for people and pollinators, enrich the soil, and bring communities together around sustainability and stewardship.

Where we're working
Starting from just a handful of spaces, our goal this year is to expand across Atlanta Metro, turning Atlanta into the Terminus for a new type of regenerative development model.

Why the innisfree?
Across America’s heartland, land is degrading, rural communities are shrinking, and people feel increasingly disconnected from place. The Innisfree offers a different future—one rooted in care, productivity, and belonging. By restoring ecosystems and reconnecting communities, The Innisfree addresses food security, ecological resilience, and economic vitality at once.
Food insecurity
As a living food forest, The Innisfree brings organic, nutritious food and value-add products directly to communities right from the source.
Valuable Park Space
The Innisfree regrows valuable park space in areas that are often missing canopy and functioning ecosystems. These spaces also create unique living educational zones for schools and community organizations.
Job Training
The Innisfree offers ample opportunity for training in the green jobs of the future. From orchard and meadow maintenance to food processing and value-add production, The Innisfree grows a full-circle network of training opportunities.
How it works

The Innisfree is developed through a phased, modular approach that allows the park to grow organically while responding to local needs. Based on the modular approach developed by our landscaping partner GreenBox Homes, initial efforts are focusing on purchasing or securing long-term leases on distressed or underutilized properties throughout Atlanta Metro. These sites (such as vacant lots, abandoned farmland, or neglected green spaces) are being restored, planted, and anchored by the installation of the trail, creating early connective segments that support future expansion.
Each section's character will be shaped by available space, community priorities, and funding. Some sites may become community gardens or gathering spaces, others regeneration hubs with composting, recycling, and education, while lower-use areas may be rewilded into meadows, forests, or wetlands that support habitat and climate resilience.
This modular design allows the park to adapt as opportunities arise, ensuring The Innisfree can expand steadily while remaining grounded in community benefit and ecological renewal.

Phase One
Growing Terminus
We're raising $100K in 2026 to identify and build out 20 areas around Atlanta metro in order to establish infrastructure (like nurseries, mulch and compost stations, and the first installations), and to grow Atlanta into the terminus for a regeneration railroad pushing north.
