Fight mosquitoes the smarter way. GreenBox Skeeter Beeters are discreet mosquito reduction stations professionally installed by GreenBox Homes to help interrupt the mosquito lifecycle before mosquitoes become biting adults. Instead of blanket chemical spraying, Skeeter Beeters use mosquito dunks containing naturally occurring bacteria that specifically target mosquito larvae in standing water.

Each installation includes strategically placed 5-gallon stations partially buried throughout your landscape in areas where mosquitoes naturally gather and breed. The stations are designed to blend into garden beds and naturalized areas while quietly working in the background all season long.

After installation, GreenBox will provide seasonal reminder emails with simple instructions for refreshing the larvicide, along with natural mosquito reduction tips for maintaining a healthier, more comfortable yard.

Perfect for:

  • Backyards and patios
  • Native gardens and food forests
  • Rain gardens and woodland edges
  • Families who want fewer chemicals in the landscape

  • A GreenBox Skeeter Beeter is a simple but highly effective mosquito reduction station designed to interrupt the mosquito lifecycle before mosquitoes become biting adults. Each Skeeter Beeter is made from a partially buried 5-gallon bucket fitted with a specially crafted lid that helps attract mosquitoes while keeping the system discreet and protected.

Inside the bucket is a mixture of water and organic matter that mimics the stagnant conditions mosquitoes naturally seek out for laying eggs. Mosquito dunk larvicide is added to the water to prevent mosquito larvae from developing into adults. Sticks extend through the opening in the top of the bucket to provide beneficial insects and small critters with a safe way to climb back out if they enter the station.

The result is a targeted, low-maintenance mosquito control system that helps reduce mosquito populations without blanket chemical spraying across your yard.

  • Most residential properties need between 3 and 6 stations depending on yard size, tree cover, drainage patterns, and mosquito pressure. A good rule of thumb is about 3 for every 10,000 sqft. During installation, we'll help determine ideal placement and suggest any additional traps if necessary.
